It’s officially spring and people here in Stratford, CT, and plenty of people are going to be coming outside to enjoy the pleasant weather that is about to befall us. one way that dental implant provider Dr. Jeffrey Hoos and the rest of his staff here at the Brush and Floss Dental Center like to celebrate spring is by getting outside with our loved ones and having a picnic in the wilderness.
However, as we assume that many of our patient’s families are a lot like ours and that means they are rather large. With that being said when it comes to picnics making enough food for everyone can be a challenge. With that being said, a while back we decided as an office to find a local place where we could go and have our panic food made for us. we didn’t just want any old sandwich, though. We wanted the food we were packing to be tasty and enjoyable so we could focus on enjoying the day with our families.
Bearing the above statements in mind, in our humble opinions, we believe that we hit the gold mine when it comes to sandwich shops. So today, in honor of spring, we have decided to take a momentary break from our normally dental themed blogs and tell you a bit about our favorite local deli. Here’s hoping that you let Gaetano’s make your next family outing a little less stressful.
Locally Owned Businesses Make Food More Enjoyable
One thing we love to do here as an office is find locally owned small businesses that are managing to hold their own in a world that is seemingly dominated by big conglomerate companies and support them. What’s even better about finding gems like these is the fact that the products you get from them are usually made with more passion and better quality than the products you get from big chains. This fact is especially true with food.
Gaetano’s deli is a perfect example of a small business making the American dream come true. The people that work here make their food with pride and you can taste it. This is their passion and they put that passion into the food they make. This is why we keep going back to Gaetano’s. The deli isn’t simply one small franchise in a large chain of thousands. It is someone’s blood sweat and tears. It is someone’s livelihood.
“When you walk into any of our three locations in Connecticut, you are walking into a piece of history. Gaetano’s Delis are true Arthur Avenue style Italian delis. Our Gaetano’s Markets carry an array of specialty meats and imported cheeses, olives, and bread; you name it, we carry it. There are always fresh pastas and delicious sauces available at our Market locations. All of our breads are freshly baked every day.” – gaetanosdelis.com
We really hope to see you in Gaetano’s sometime soon! Spring is here and it’s the season for picnics. Let Gaetano’s do the cooking for you!
Until next time readers, happy spring and keep smiling.
